1. Use of the Site
The Site provides information about Steelsmith's steel buildings, pre-engineered metal buildings, design-build services, and related construction services, and allows you to request a quote or contact us. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to submit a form or request a quote. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for your personal use or for your company's internal business purposes in evaluating and requesting our services.
2. Quotes, Estimates, and Pricing
Any quote, estimate, price, price range, or budget information shown on the Site or provided to you in response to a form submission, phone call, or email is preliminary and for informational purposes only. It is not an offer, bid, or guarantee of final price.
Estimates are based on the information you provide and on conditions at the time they are prepared. Final pricing may change based on factors such as site conditions, soil and foundation requirements, engineering, local building codes, permitting, wind and snow loads, steel and material costs, freight, labor, accessories, and schedule.
Submitting a form or receiving an estimate does not create a contract between you and Steelsmith. Any project will be governed solely by a separate written agreement signed by both you and Steelsmith. If anything in these Terms conflicts with that written agreement, the written agreement controls.
3. Informational Content Only
Our blog, buyer's guide, building permits guide, pricing resources, FAQs, and other Site content are provided for general information only. This content is not engineering, architectural, legal, financial, tax, or code compliance advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from licensed professionals. Building codes, zoning rules, and permit requirements vary by jurisdiction, so please consult your local building officials and qualified professionals before making decisions about your project.
We work to keep Site content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or up to date, and we may change it at any time without notice.
4. Project Photos, Specifications, and Service Areas

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame, sell, or create derivative works from any Site content, or use our name, logo, or project photos, without our prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:

- Submit false or misleading information or impersonate any person or company.

Any warranties for buildings, materials, or construction services are provided only in the applicable written contract or manufacturer warranty documents, and not through the Site.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steelsmith and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or your reliance on any Site content. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
This section applies only to your use of the Site. Liability related to any building or construction project is governed by the separate written agreement for that project.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Steelsmith and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
15. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to the Site and These Terms
