We are not a manufacturer, or building broker that simply refers your project out to other builders. Because we self perform our own work, our project managers are able to value engineer your project to be builder friendly, and to provide the most economical in place cost. We can provide all the services you will need from engineering and architectural services, to the actual finish out of your building. And most importantly, all this work goes on one Steelsmith contract. That means that we are literally taking responsibility for every aspect of your project. In fact, the same project manager that designed and priced your building to you will be your point of contact throughout the process. When you choose Steelsmith, you don’t have to deal with six different contractors, and all the scheduling conflicts that can arise on a building project.
Prior to your building arriving, we will conduct a pre-construction meeting that will outline the process from start to finish, and will likely include a site visit. One of our responsible crews will arrive to excavate and pour your foundation and pad well in advance of building delivery to ensure that the concrete has had time to cure properly.
Once the building arrives, our crew will meet the truck at the site to unload your building and stage the materials. From that point, you could be enjoying your building in as little as one week. Our erection crews are knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. In addition to all that, they are also very clean. Steelsmith erectors always maintain a tidy and safe work environment, and we will tolerate nothing less.
In the event that Steelsmith is not responsible for the entire project, our project manager will still help to coordinate with all other parties to keep everything running smoothly. We can liaise with architects, general contractors, and other sub-contractors so you don’t have to be the middle man. Our crews are also experts at working around other subs on site to avoid unnecessary delays.
